After taking a first-half lead against our friends in Karlsruhe, two second-half goals condemned us to our fourth successive away defeat. Hertha has now been knocked down to ninth (from seventh) while Karlsruhe continue their surprising success and now have a firm grip on fourth.

As funny it was watching highlights of the Hertha-Hannover match last week, I am of the opinion that snow has no place in football (actually, I’m generally of the opinion that snow has no place anywhere but ski resorts).

I wasn’t shocked when I read that there was a late goal scored in the Hertha Berlin game on Saturday. That’s fairly common. What was a pleasant surprise was that the late goal was scored by Hertha. Also, that it was scored by Andre Lima. And it was the winner.
