Third in the league as the first half of the season comes to a close. We go into the New Year on a Champions League place, with a 4-0 win over our buddies in Karlsruhe. It’s the best Hinrunde we’ve ever had. 10 wins, 3 draws, 4 losses. [...]

Ah, well. Can’t win them all, right?
Last I posted, Hertha was riding high, unbeaten in five, with quite a lot of confidence. Now, we’ve lost two in a row. Granted, they were difficult games, and neither were lost by much, but still. I tend to prefer winning over losing.

After a bye last week, Hertha’s back into European competition tomorrow. The UEFA Cup beckons and tomorrow is probably the biggest game of all of ours- the visit of Turkish giants Galatasaray.
