I think we did go for the win, we had the better of the second half. We just couldn’t get it done. But I was thrilled with one point.

Anyway Konnopke and Daggi, I just received the ticket for Koln in the mail Tuesday. Will either one of you be there Tuesday for the match or should I just mail you the money?

I personally thought we should have gone for a win, but everyone in the Bar 11 told me I was an idiot. Hope they’re right. In any case, we’re all heading to the stadium next Sat. for the Bochum match, which is, unbelieveably, almost sold out. Too bad Kacinho is banned for the match.

Go Ray – That is fantastic! “He’s bounced around Brazil! – Awesome!
This was my first ever Hertha away game and it was great fun. Super stadium, great atmosphere, lotsa Hertha fans made the trip and I’m completely happy with a draw in Hamburg. We are still in with a shot. Pinch me – is this really happening!

He’d talked about Raffael taking a shot from distance a little while before, which segued into a fairly typical/nonsensical Hudson conversation about what Brazilians could do. And in the excitement he seems to have forgotten that Gojko was not one of the Brazilians who can take great shots from distance.

When I saw the highlights I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he may have talked about Hertha’s Brazilian players before and compared Kacar’s goal to them or something.
