Ouch. Abby, this is news to me. Arne, to Stuttgart? Me being the Stuttgart fan, this is the first time I had heard of it. All the rumours surrounding Mario Gomez's future is enough to keep me occupied (other than Euro 2008) for now. When the Germany line-up was revealed ahead of the Austria match in Vienna on TV, I swear I almost heaved a sigh of relief when I saw Arne's name is on the list. Really. I know that came at a time when Marcell Jansen was injured but, I was like 'Phooey!'. ‘Hopefully, not with his face.’
